Paula toured Scandinavia in concert with
Scatman John
and Wigfield
to crowds in excess of 25,000
promoting her 1st club re-mix of the
‘Foreigner’
hit ‘I Wanna
Know What Love Is’, also her 2nd
release,
'Rock My House’,
which she co-wrote. Paula was the only artiste to be
chosen to feature on
both Sony compilation releases,
Dockside Dance Party Volume 1 and
2 respectively featuring
artistes such as
Luther Vandross, 2 Unlimited, Black Box
and
Livin’joy.
'I
Wanna Know What Love Is'
also featured on the
’Pepsi Cola’
compact dance release of over 65,000
copies.
Paula also worked
on the ‘Xmas Special Film’ of the long running comedy show
‘Last of the Summer Wine’.

intentionally sing ’out of tune’ to an ’out of tune' piano, with a
rendition of
Shirley Bassey's,
‘Big Spender’!).
Paula has
travelled extensively throughout her career, including several major
engagements. More recently in the USA, Las Vegas. Where she appeared
in her own show, 'Ladies of Rock2'
at The Riviera Hotel/Casino. During the last few years Paula has
also had several long running shows in her own Cabaret Room in Palm
Springs, California. Also, Australia, United Arab Emirates,
Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the mid 90's. Bombay, India (Mumbai),
appearing in the Sea Rock Sheraton Hotel. Another tour took
Paula to Zimbabwe where she was dubbed as
'The British Tina
Turner',
making 'front page' news as the 1st
British artiste to appear in over 12 years following the civil war.
Touring for 7 weeks, opening to sell out crowds in The Monomatapa
Hotel, Harare, then on to The Victoria Falls Hotel and Makasa Sun
Casino, Bulawayo Hotel and The Montclair Casino, returning to The
Monomatapa Hotel, Harare. European tours/engagements include,
Germany plus BFOE Tours, Denmark in excess of 20 tours, Norway,
Faeroe Islands and Majorca where she brought the Port to a
'standstill' with her appearance as Tina, on a 65' Fair-line
Cruiser, in Puerto Portals!
During her
musical career Paula has appeared in cabaret with many well
respected TV Personality's of
show business. Contributed her talent to numerous
Charity Events.
Very recently in The Robert Winsor Charity Golf Classics, Majorca.
Alongside
Jasper Carrot and
performed duets with John Miles (Tina Turner's MD, Lead
Guitarist/Vocalist). The much loved and sadly missed
Bob Monkhouse, Mike Reid,
(Mike Reid Charity Classic),
Stan Stennet
(the Royal George Pro Am),
Frank Carson, Roy
Walker, Bobby Davro,
(Bobby quoted: “the best Tina Turner and Cher
impressionist I’ve ever
seen”).
Bill Tidy
and the sadly missed,
Leslie Crowther (The
Lords
Taverner’s Charity Extravaganza in Gibraltar, where Leslie
joined Paula on stage, to take part in one of her own songs that she
wrote, entitled ‘Big Boys’! ). Also, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital
Intensive Care Unit. Throughout the years Paula has been actively
involved in charitable organisations and also organised her own very
successful charity events, raising funds for the
Comedians Golfing Society and the Manchester Children’s Hospital,
Leukaemia Fund.
